The app stores settings, saved workouts, manually entered weights and repetitions or hold times, exercise history and personal records, workout summaries and lifetime totals. Summaries may include duration, average and maximum heart rate and calories supplied by Garmin. The free edition also keeps its saved-workout trial counter on the watch. The watch retains its latest 30 saved workout records; exercise records and totals are stored separately.
When you save a recorded workout, the app uses Garmin's activity recording service to save a FIT activity. Each logged set creates a lap, and the app can contribute exercise, repetition, weight, set and volume fields. Garmin Connect handles the activity under Garmin's own privacy policy. We do not control Garmin Connect's display of these fields. Undoing a set in the app cannot remove a FIT lap already recorded for it.
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Fit and FitContributor — both editions | Record workouts and contribute workout data to the Garmin activity. |
| Communications — Pro only | Optional pairing, plan downloads and saved-workout history upload when you request sync. |
The manifests do not request location/GPS or sensor permissions. The free edition contains no Communications client.
Sync is initiated through Pair or Sync now. There is no background sync. Pairing uses an installation device key, the Pro app identifier and a short-lived pairing code. The app identifier labels the product; it is not server-verifiable proof of purchase. Sync can download website workout plans and upload pending saved-workout records from the watch's bounded 30-record queue.
Uploaded records can include the workout name, time, duration, exercises, individual weights and repetitions or seconds, set count, volume, heart-rate summaries, calories and a personal-record flag. No account, email address or password is required for workout sync. If you enter personal information in a custom workout or exercise name, that text is included in the plan or history you sync.
Plans are shared only after you explicitly link the two paired Pro apps on the website and choose the source plan list. Their device keys and workout histories remain separate. The shared builder supports the 60 exercises common to both products and custom exercises. Strength Flow's on-watch catalog has 120 built-in exercises.
The workout-sync privacy policy explains the browser cookie, pairing-code expiry, inactive-device cleanup, shared-plan retention, access logs and backups. A separate weekly cleanup removes shared plan collections left with no linked app after inactive-device cleanup. You can remove paired app data through the website. Deleting the last linked app also deletes its shared plan collection; unlinking copies the current shared plans into the selected app's private list.
The watch app contains no advertising or analytics and does not ask for your name, email, password or physical address. Garmin's software, Store, payment and account services have their own policies. Using the BIKINTULIS contact form is optional and provides the information you submit to us to answer your enquiry.
You can use the on-watch features without pairing Pro to the website. You can change settings and delete workout history in the app. Uninstalling the app removes its watch storage through Garmin's normal app lifecycle, but does not automatically delete website records or Garmin Connect activities. Use the website's data deletion controls and Garmin Connect's own activity controls for those records.
This notice will be updated if the app's data handling changes. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
