Privacy Policy — DiapetTracker

This policy applies to the DiapetTracker Pro - Insulin Dose Tracker and DiapetTracker Trial - Insulin Dose Tracker Garmin Connect IQ apps. They use the same dose-log and reminder privacy design; the Trial also stores local timing and expiration state. Other BIKINTULIS apps have their own policies.

1. Who we are

BIKINTULIS is an independent developer of Garmin Connect IQ apps and watch faces. For questions, use the contact form.

2. Summary in plain language

• DiapetTracker runs entirely on your watch and makes no network or web requests.
• Your insulin type, dose amount, entry time, recent history, reminder preference and Trial state stay in Garmin's per-app storage on the watch.
• No DiapetTracker account is required, and no dose information is sent to BIKINTULIS or another server.
• The app contains no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDK.
• Background and Notifications permissions are used only to schedule and show the optional reminder.

3. Permissions this app requests

DiapetTracker does not request Communications, GPS/Positioning, sensor or activity-recording permissions.

4. Data stored locally on the watch

Garmin gives each installed app a private storage area. DiapetTracker stores:

• up to the 20 most recent dose entries, including insulin type, whole-unit amount and saved time;
• the optional reminder interval and status;
• other local display and application state;
• for DiapetTracker Trial only: first-launch time, greatest trusted time and expired state.

This information stays on the watch. You can remove the latest entry with Undo. Uninstalling the relevant app edition may remove its stored data, subject to Garmin's platform behaviour.

5. Data sent to a server

None. DiapetTracker has no account, pairing, server-sync or cloud-backup feature. It does not send dose entries, reminder settings, Trial state or device identifiers to bikintulis.de.

6. What DiapetTracker does not collect or send

• No name, email address, phone number, postal address or account credentials.
• No insulin-dose history, insulin type or reminder schedule.
• No GPS, location, heart-rate, activity or other sensor data.
• No advertising identifiers, analytics or tracking data.

7. Garmin Connect and your Garmin account

DiapetTracker runs inside Garmin's Connect IQ platform but does not record a Garmin activity or upload dose logs to Garmin Connect. Garmin's own collection and use of platform data is governed by Garmin's privacy policy. BIKINTULIS has no access to your Garmin account.

8. The bikintulis.de website

The website is separate from the watch app. When you use bikintulis.de:

• If you leave a comment or review, your name, email, rating and comment are stored. Your name, rating and approved comment may be published; your email is not published.
• If you use the contact form, the details you submit are stored privately and used to answer you. Optional attachments are removed when the message is deleted.
• IP addresses are stored in the website database only as salted hashes for security and rate limiting. Standard server access logs may retain raw IP addresses for up to 30 days.
• The website uses no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

9. Legal basis under the GDPR

DiapetTracker sends no personal or health-related data to BIKINTULIS. Website data is processed based on your consent when you submit a comment or contact request, and legitimate interest when security logs or IP hashes protect the service.

10. Data retention

• On the watch: until you remove the latest entry, uninstall the relevant DiapetTracker edition or clear its application data through Garmin's device-management tools.
• Website comments: while DiapetTracker remains listed, or until removal is requested where applicable.
• Contact messages: as long as needed to handle the enquiry, then deleted.
• Server access logs: up to 30 days.

11. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete website information we hold, withdraw consent, object to processing or complain to a data-protection authority. DiapetTracker watch data is not held by BIKINTULIS. Use the contact form for a privacy request.

12. Security

• DiapetTracker makes no network connections, so there is no DiapetTracker app-to-server traffic.
• The watch's Garmin application sandbox separates each DiapetTracker edition's storage from other Connect IQ apps.
• Traffic to bikintulis.de uses HTTPS.
• Any purchase is handled by Garmin; BIKINTULIS does not receive payment-card details.

13. Medical limitation

DiapetTracker is a personal log and reminder, not a dose calculator or medical device. It does not calculate, recommend, verify or administer insulin. Follow your prescribed care plan and seek professional medical help for urgent concerns.

14. Children

DiapetTracker sends no personal data to BIKINTULIS, including when the watch is used by a child. A parent or guardian should supervise use and follow the user's prescribed care plan.

15. Changes to this policy

This policy may change when DiapetTracker features or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
