Privacy Policy - PeriodTracker
Last updated: 14 September 2026 · Applies to PeriodTracker Trial and PeriodTracker Pro v1.0.0.
1. Summary
- PeriodTracker works entirely on the Garmin watch and makes no network requests.
- Period start and end dates, history, predictions, reminder preferences and Trial state stay in Garmin local app storage.
- No PeriodTracker account is required, and no cycle information is sent to BIKINTULIS or another server.
- The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software.
2. Information stored on the watch
PeriodTracker stores the actual period start and optional end dates you enter, configured cycle and period lengths, reminder preference, derived prediction and late-state information, and local Trial-usage state. These values are used only to show history, active-period status, cycle estimates, the glance and optional reminders.
3. Permissions
Background permission is used only to schedule optional on-device reminders one day before a predicted start, on the predicted day and once on the first late day. Disabling reminders stops those notifications. PeriodTracker does not request Communications, GPS/Positioning, sensor or activity-recording permissions.
4. Predictions and health information
Predictions are calculated locally from recent period records and your configured cycle values. They are estimates, may be early or late, and are not sent off the watch. PeriodTracker is a general wellness log, not a medical device, and must not be used for contraception, diagnosis or medical decisions.
5. Information sent to BIKINTULIS
None. PeriodTracker has no account, cloud backup, server sync, advertising or analytics connection. BIKINTULIS cannot see period dates, cycle history, predictions, late status, reminder settings, Trial state or device identifiers.
6. Trial and Pro editions
PeriodTracker Trial and PeriodTracker Pro are separate Garmin applications. Trial stores its 24-hour and successfully-saved-start count locally. Data entered in Trial does not automatically transfer to Pro. Reinstalling or clearing app storage may remove local records and may restart locally stored Trial state, subject to Garmin platform behaviour.
7. Retention and deletion
App information remains in Garmin's local storage for the installed edition until it is removed through available app controls or the app storage is cleared or uninstalled. Because no server copy exists, BIKINTULIS cannot restore deleted records or move them between editions.
8. Garmin Connect and the Connect IQ Store
Garmin distributes the app and provides the on-device platform. Garmin's own processing is governed by Garmin's privacy policy. Purchases and downloads take place through Garmin; BIKINTULIS does not receive payment-card details.
9. The bikintulis.de website
The PeriodTracker listing page is separate from the watch app. Website comments, reviews and contact messages are handled under the general website privacy policy. Visiting the page does not connect the watch or upload PeriodTracker information.
10. Security
- PeriodTracker makes no network connections, so there is no app-to-server cycle-data traffic.
- Garmin's application storage separates Trial and Pro data from other Connect IQ apps.
- Traffic to bikintulis.de uses HTTPS.
11. Rights and contact
BIKINTULIS holds no PeriodTracker watch data to access, correct or delete. For website-data requests or app questions, use the contact form.
12. Changes
This policy will be updated before any version with different data handling is released. The date above identifies the latest revision.
