Privacy Policy - Sauna & Cold Bath

1. Summary

  • Sauna & Cold Bath works locally on the Garmin watch and makes no network requests.
  • Settings, Trial state, session history and heart-rate summaries stay in Garmin application storage on the watch.
  • The Sensor permission is used only to read heart rate when a reading is available.
  • The app contains no account, advertising, analytics or tracking software.
  • BIKINTULIS does not receive session, health, device or location data from the app.

2. Information stored on the watch

The app can store timer targets, session preferences, next-session planning, Trial-usage state and the latest 10 completed-session records. A saved record can include the session type, duration, target and the heart-rate start, average, minimum, maximum, end, rise, fall and valid-sample coverage values calculated from readings available during that session.

3. Sensor permission and heart rate

The Sensor permission is used only to request heart-rate readings from the Garmin device while the app is running. These readings are used for the current display and local session summary. They are not uploaded to BIKINTULIS or another server. Heart-rate readings can be unavailable, incomplete or unreliable in water or extreme conditions.

4. Glance

On compatible watches, the optional home-screen Glance reads only cached local app state needed for its compact summary. It does not start a session, activate the heart-rate sensor or make a network request.

5. Trial and Pro editions

Sauna & Cold Bath Trial and Sauna & Cold Bath Pro are separate Garmin applications with separate local storage. Trial stores its 24-hour and successfully-saved-session count locally. Trial data does not transfer automatically to Pro. Reinstalling or clearing app storage can remove local settings and history and may restart locally stored Trial state, subject to Garmin platform behaviour.

6. Retention and deletion

The app retains up to the latest 10 completed sessions and replaces older entries as new sessions are saved. Other local information remains until it is replaced by later use, app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Because BIKINTULIS receives no app data, it cannot restore or remotely delete data stored on the watch.

7. Information sent to BIKINTULIS

None. Sauna & Cold Bath v1.0.0 has no account, server sync, advertising or analytics connection. BIKINTULIS cannot see session history, heart-rate readings or summaries, settings, Trial state or device identifiers.

8. Garmin and the Connect IQ Store

Garmin distributes the app and provides the Connect IQ platform. Garmin's processing is governed by Garmin's privacy policy. Purchases and downloads take place through Garmin; BIKINTULIS does not receive payment-card details.

9. The bikintulis.de website

The Sauna & Cold Bath listing page is separate from the watch app. Website comments, reviews and contact messages are handled under the general website privacy policy. Visiting the page does not connect the watch or upload app data.

10. Safety and medical information

Sauna & Cold Bath is a timer and history tool, not a medical device. It does not determine whether an exposure duration, temperature or heart rate is medically safe. Keep the watch outside the sauna and follow appropriate professional advice for your health and circumstances.

11. Rights and contact

BIKINTULIS holds no Sauna & Cold Bath app data to access, correct or delete. For website-data requests or app questions, use the contact form.

12. Changes

This policy will be updated before any version with different data handling is released. The date above identifies the latest revision.
